B. is for Baby.
B. is also for BOY and we now have TWO. Truett Neal was born on December 3rd, 2010. Mommy was one day short of a FORTY week pregnancy and so very ready to give birth to our second son. My experience the second time around was much easier and more enjoyable than the first. As much as I wanted his pregnancy to be over, I can honestly say I miss those sweet times. Once it's gone, it's gone and I'm almost convinced we will be having a third child (God willing). However, Truett has been a wonderful unplanned addition to our family. God sometimes surprises us with his greatest gifts when we least expect it.
Truett is now 4 months old and we are starting to feel a little more acclamated to being a family of FOUR. We don't venture out much and we eat most of our meals at home. Because Jack is in a preschool/mothers-morning-out program 5 mornings a week, Mommy does not have to try and scoot around town very often with "two-in-tow" unless we have Daddy with us to help. It's honestly easier to just stay at home .
We are looking forward to a very full and fun-packed spring and summer. Mommy has a lot of ideas for summer activities. We purchased a family season pass to the Atlanta Zoo(Can you believe they are open 363 days a year? It was a great deal and the pass actually pays for itself in 2 visits). We are planning on making several day trips including a spin down to Callaway Gardens to let the boys experience the butterly exhibit. I have such fond memories of the butterlies when I was young and I can't wait to see it through my children's eyes.
Because Daddy is self-employed, we will try not to burden him much this summer with taking time off work. Daddy prefers to save his time off work to go to the lake, which I sure there will be plenty of trips down to Sinclair. We should not be bored or short on activities to keep us busy, Mommy just needs to build up a little more confidence in knowing I can survive out in public by myself with two kiddos.
